This haunted house environment was built for a VR 'escape room' university collaborative assignment. My role in the project was to design and create the environment in addition to some 3D assets.
When creating the environment, immersion was my main focus. I wanted each room to give the player an unsettling feeling while they explored the house looking for keys and clues they needed to escape. To achieve this, I worked with shocking imagery to create a dark/eerie atmosphere, 3D models consistent with the design of the house, minimal lighting and some post-processing effects when the player was in different areas of the house.
